Welcome to the Electronic Document Lodgment service, or eLodgment, for the Magistrates Court.
A phased approach is being used to develop eLodgment facilities. eLodgment is presently restricted to a small number of law firms and government agencies registered to use the service for lodgment of the Civil Proceedings Forms 3 – General Procedure Claim and Form 4 – Minor Case Claim. Following successful establishment of eLodgment, the range of documents able to be lodged electronically will be expanded.
eLodgment is authorised by Rule 12(1) of the Magistrate Court (General Rules) 2005. The Magistrates Court of Western Australia has approved a website address in accordance with Rule 12(1) of the Rules for the purposes of filing and lodgment of documents. A copy of this declaration can be accessed from the download box below.
General information about eLodgment is available together with the Department of The Attorney General Electronic Business Conditions of Use and the Electronic Trading Agreement for eLodgment.
Registered users may access eLodgment.
